NEED OPINION PLEASE about using custom url?

Since I am new to all this, and very tech challenged :), I am wondering:
* is there an advantage to keeping the indie.com url for now. Am I likely to get traffic from search engines that I might not be able to create on my own?

and just FYI.....I don't like that www doesn't work in front of the web address. Finally had someone let me know my links weren't working. My first encounter with this. Tech support told me I could change that but I can't figure out how. guess I need to contact tech support again.

I wouldn't keep the indiemade.com url, for branding purposes.

To make the www work in front of your website, forward the your domain root "domainname" to your www.domainname.com and you should be all set. Since I don't know what registrar you use, here are custom domain name instructions with additional info to forward the root domain to your www address.
