Hi all,

I am completely new to embroidery, I just got my machine a few days ago! I have seen that for some designs, such as alphabets you need to have some software to personalize it. Does anyone have a recommendation for what software to get?

I have sew what pro and I love it. It's easy to use and affordable. Definitely try the free trial version. There is also a FB group for them too which can be very helpful.

Have you used the SewArt? If so what are your thoughts on it? I have all the Singer Software and have a love hate relationship with it.

I'm new to machine embroidery and bought PE Design Plus (for Brother) which is a very stripped down version of PE Design Next. It will only do the basics but for my skill level this is all I need. I think I can upgrade later at a reduced price.

I have the utmost respect for designers/digitizers. I used to do a lot of graphic design, but the embroidery software just overwhelms me.

I have SWP and love it's ease. One day I hope to get a software where I can learn to digitize - always have ideas spinning in my head :-)

I have yet to use sew art. I downloaded the trial version and it expired before I got a chance to use it.

The same thing happened to me! I finally got around to watching a video about it and though it looked fairly user friendly, but when I opened it my trial had expired.
