I thought this might be a good idea, a little like "Everything Else Chat" and "Random Internet Fun Links". I thought this could be a place where people share whatever they're researching, inspired by or simply browsing.
Like snippets of interest, it can be a photo, article, video, anything that's interesting or inspiring you right now. It can be serious or fun. It doesn't have to be craft related.
I'll start. I'm doing a lot of google browsing about the victorians right now for doll research. I've been looking up street folk - merchants, urchins, etc. And I've found this really interesting article about down and out women who have just given up - unemplyable due to no address or ill health they simply sit about, too tired to beg. They're called Crawlers due to the fact they're so tired they'll often be seen crawling. They sit on Workhouse steps waiting to be accepted for a bed for the night.
