This hard work is starting to pay off! Now, it may not sound like a lot but I haven't been around that long yet (The Navigatrix turns 1 on February 14th): I had 4 sales in January and have just had my 3rd sale so far this month.
Congrats on your sales Sally-Ann. With you new amazing photos, I'm sure you will make many more!
December was a completely crazy month for me sale-wize. Then come January people seemed to lose interest. I still made a few sales but nothing like December. February has been decent so far... hoping that continues. It's going to be hard with knits to keep sales going all year. I'm hoping that with my line of skirts I'll be able to keep them up. ; )
Kristina, surely in our northern hemisphere summer you'll be aiming at selling to those in the southern hemisphere who will be having their winter? Sales all year round :)
I've sold 4 badges, it's been a lovely starting stepping stone. I've had some interest in my sonic screwdriver so fingers crossed, I'm also hoping my necklaces will prove to be popular, I just need a shot of them on. I'll do that tomorrow. xx
This isn't strictly an Etsy sale celebration, but one of my digital t-shirt designs has been accepted for print at teeVillain.com. I haven't got a print date yet, but I'll be shouting about it when I do. I am soooo excited! Hopefully it will bring a whole load of people onto my Facebook page, who will then see my skeleton key jewellery in my Etsy shop which will turn into sales sales sales! To see a tiny sliver of a sneak peek of the design that was accepted to teeVillain, check out my cover photo on www.facebook.com/SwanStarDesigns..... its the a pair of eyes above the t-shirt images.
Wow, Kathryn, you'll have to tell us when they post it!
This is a small thing, but I am excited that a photographer has started to use me as a steady pyrographer. Every two weeks or so she's going to be shipping me DVD cases to burn custom designs for her clients. It is a small chunk of change, but it is consistent! And it is awesome that she's already talking about the next round of shipments when she hasn't even seen the first round!
And in bigger news, today I sold a handfasting box, which is my highest priced item! To top it off, with that purchase, I have made more in the first six months of this year than I did all of last year! That feels pretty great!
Congrats, Emily! It's such a good feeling to see things moving in a positive direction, isn't it?
I have two local shops that want consign my work, one of which also wants some specialty designs just for them. So that's this week's achievement (and today's graphic design project). Yay!
Congratulations on your consignment partnerships, I'm sure that will be a wonderful opportunity! I can't wait to see what you design for the shop & to hear how the sales go!
Guess what...a friend just visited and bought *two* necklaces! I now have plenty of cash to form a decent float for the fair on Saturday :)
Money does indeed come easily and frequently :D
Kim - be careful of your wording. If you use a future tense, you're always putting it out there in the future and never getting to it! Try 'Everything is working out perfectly' instead ♡
Oh, thanks Sally. I think I actually say, "will", which I suppose is also future tense. I will make adjustments.... Congratulations on your sale; everything IS working out perfectly for you!
