This is a very talked about subject and at times confusing I hope we can shed some light on it all :)

On my site I use the built in weebly SEO tools. You can optimize each and every page or just one. I chose to do the main pages.

I depend very heavily on backlinks right now. So I have been working to get featured on blogs and adding my url to free directories.

I realize that there is extensive optimization that can be done but I have not reached that level in my budget just yet :)

Yeah, that's about what I do, too. Weebly's got great tools, and they're pretty easy to use, thankfully. :D

I have 2 websites and I don't spend a dime for SEO and both my websites rank high in the search engines for most keyword terms.

For example, according to my Statcounter statistics which I just checked a little while ago, my InexpensiveJewelryPhotography website ranks #1 on Google for the keyword search term- How to photograph your jewelry so people will buy it.

Also, according to my Statcounter statistics, jewelry photography PDF ranks #6 on Google.

Building up backlinks is one way to help your SEO provided that those backlinks are coming from RELEVANT sites.

Hello to all the I Have a Website Team. I'm a new seller on Etsy and I am (from time to time) working on setting up a website on Weebly. I noticed several of you also use Weebly, so that is very comforting that I didn't make a huge mistake by choosing them.
I'll keep a close eye on these posts for advice, and tips, and if I can ever add an insight, or even a lame question, I will pop up in the threads here.
Meanwhile, I hope y'all sell lots of stuff this Holiday season! Carry on.
