Help - Creating a webiste

Hi there,

I joined the team as I'm interested in creating my own website however I'm overwhelmed by the amount of information available and ecommerce websites boasting brilliant features.

I'm confused! I need some advice on how and where I can set one up with ease. All in all I would like it to be a fun and hassle free experience but most importantly secure & professional looking.

Note: I just purchased my domain the other day. Hurray! one step there, lol.

For someone that does not know anything about creating a website there is no way that I could teach you how to create a website here.

You may want to consider using the website builder that GoDaddy is offering because I don't believe that you need to know anything about website design to create a website. You will see what I am talking about by just going to GoDaddy and looking on their home page.

Another option would be to use PageBuzz.com to create your website. It costs $20 per month and you don't need to know anything about webhosting to create a website through PageBuzz.

PageBuzz has excellent customer service both by phone and email 7 days per week from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. Eastern time. I have been using them for a number of years for one of my websites.

Thanks so much, I had made a website quite some years ago obviously things have changed since then. I was looking for a more hassle free option. I will check them out thanks.

Many sites out there. If you haven't chosen by now, I'd suggest to do the free trials and see which interface & options suit you best.

I settled with Big Cartel, but I also tried Shopify, indiemade, squarespace, wix, virb. All have pros & cons, but you can't have it all. There's always using wordpress, but that will be more complicated.

I know we all like a free website but the fact is that it is very difficult to build a professional looking website using one of those free website builders.

I tried doing that for about a year because I didn't wanna spend a bunch of money. But it was just impossible. Then, I found this person who had amazing designs (He was my first customer - so that was great). I was talking to him and he offered me some easy EMI option which I could easily afford. And now, we finally have a nice, fun,professional looking website.

P.S. The guy knows about every technology on the planet - working with him feels like there is nothing impossible to do and I can have exactly what I need!!! Plus, he is fast - he can get a simple website up in 24 hours and a complicated one in a week - I was shocked!!

There's a built ion shopping cart, social media buttons and fast friendly customer service when you have questions (which I had a lot of!)

My newest site I built using WordPress and the woocommerce plugin. I personally like this cart the best after using a few others in the past.
