Hello :) I've worked in historic home preservation throughout most of my life and began selling salvage when I'd run across more than I needed for my projects at hand. I've had one project published, this an embarrassingly EASY one way back in the early 80s in the Mpls/St. Paul Magazine. Ten years ago I left St. Paul forever and became an urban refugee. Although I miss the estate sales and the old Pig's Eye landfill there I have never looked back. I am also a collector of most everything else vintage and wear vintage clothes on a daily basis - a bit off the norm where I now reside in Western MN.

I'm a student of architecture, culture, and history - re: F. Scott Fitzgerald 'College of Life') . I am an active member of The National Trust For Historic Preservation and The Minnesota Historical Society, our local historical society, and a former member of SALVO.

More a scavenger and hands on restoration person, I often have interesting architectural salvage around to use in creative re-purpose. Yesterday I worked on a 100 + year old house that is being razed this afternoon. In the mood to create coat racks out of wood door headers? Watch my listings as I'll be selling them very cheaply. There was some decent door hardware to save as well. I just couldn't bear to let handcrafted structure end up in the county landfill.

Without a truck I'm unable to work flea markets at the moment, though I also stock (very) large items such as porch pillars, Victorian porch gingerbread, windows, doors, beveled glass door inserts and the like. Feel free to inquire as I'd be glad to post listings for pick up if I feel there is sincere interest.
