I've had my shop a little over one year now, and of all the things I have learned, there is one that I have not..........how to promote my shop thru advertisement. I love to create but when it comes to selling, well let’s just say I have a hard time being dramatic with my wording when describing my product.......let’s face it I'm not a good sales woman.
Any advice?

Re: How to Advertise?
Hi fellow Washingtonian! I live just up the road in Bellevue!
I agree with you that marketing can be intimidating and confusing. Your items are very unique and beautifully crafted so you shouldn't have much trouble selling once you find that market. Unfortunately, it usually takes a lot of trial and error.
You don't have to be a great salesperson yourself, just find someone else who is. I'm sure there is somebody on your circle of friends who is or may know someone who is really excited about your items. Try the personal approach and offer them a small commission for getting your items into a local shop.
I know a lady who has a shop at the Freighthouse Square in Tacoma that sells my pens and does a fantastic job of marketing for me! Freighthouse Square also has a craft market every 2nd Saturday of the month.
Also keep promoting your items on Etsy and look into a website called:
www.shopmarketinghelper.com
They promote your items on facebook, twitter, stumbleupon, blogger, and tumblr. They recently had a promotion where they were offering lifetime membership for $25.00! I don't know if it's still running or not. But it really jumps up the views and sales when they promote one of your items.
Good Luck!
