Brand new to this site.

I just joined about a week ago and I am trying to get my shop up and running. Is anyone else having problems posting pics of their stuff? It is taking so long just to upload one picture.

Re: Brand new to this site.

I just opened my shop last week..it did seem to take way to long to enter all the info but I learned from reading other's profiles how to speed things up..one thing, if you're postage info is similar for many products, you can put that on your shopp announcemnet./yhen instead of re-entering it on every item, you can just say "for pricing info , see my shop announcement"..it helped speed that part up for me anyway..hope this helps!

I also found that picture uploading takes a while...not sure there's much you can do about that. I copied similar items from my already listed items and then just changed pics and specifics if need be...That helped somewhat!

Re: Brand new to this site.

Hi Kelly! - When it comes to photo uploading there is a certain file size that hits the "sweet spot" so you have good, high quality photos and a low file size. It takes less time to upload but still lets your photos look great!

I usually try to crop my images to a 800x800 pixel size. They usually upload in less than a minute.

I clicked on the photos from your shop and saved them to my computer. When I opened them in photoshop I found that they were around 1500 x 1125 (That comes to almost 20 inches across) The file size for that is around 440kb. A smaller image can get you down to around 100kb.

If you need help figuring out how to minimize your file size convo me, I'd be happy to help!

Re: Brand new to this site.

I resize all images to 1000 pixels wide and whatever photoshop automatically puts as the corresponding height, and all photos upload pretty quickly.
