Hi all! I'm new to this team and though i'd share an easy way to make sample bags! These are great for supplies sellers but they will work well for anybody who gives out small samples with orders. You can even use recycled packaging to make them!
What you need:
-Clear scotch tape (not packing tape)
-Clear cellophane plastic (lots of things use cellophane as packaging, if you have any packaging from other products laying around that will work great. Cellophane is very common in sticker packaging)
What you need to do: Cut the cellophane into a small square, it doesn't need to be perfect. If your cellophane is reused from packaging and is folded, keep it that way. Use the edge of the cellophane where it is folded so you can unfold it and get a rectangle. If your cellophane isn't folded/double, that's okay! Just cut two squares of the same size. 1 inch by 1 inch is a good size but you can make it a little bigger if you need to. Make sure to keep it small so you don't waste too many samples. Take one piece of tape that's the length of your squares. Place it on one of the squares (do the same if your cellophane is folded) so that there is still some hanging off. About 0.3 cm for a 1 inch bag is good but you can do more if you need to. Make sure the extra tape hanging off is no less than 1/2 of the tape on the bag. Trim the tape so that 1/2 of the width is on the plastic and the other half isn't. Then fold it over to seal the sides together. If you are using 2 separate squares make sure they are lined up. Repeat until one side is still open. Fill it with the sample about halfway, you can wait to do this step until you want to fill the bag. Fold the top over and make sure the edges are even with eachother. Trim another piece of tape so the length is less than that of the bag, width is up to you but make sure it doesn't hang over. Put the piece of tape in the middle of the fold so that half is on the folded bit and the other half is on the bag. And you're done!
I realize the instructions may be confusing, I can't upload an image, sorry about that
