Question for those that have been featured! I still have 10 unclaimed deals out there!!

Hi All,

Been awhile since my feature. I still have 10 deals that were bought and are yet unclaimed. I dislike having the "other" option available for payment. I have had 2 new etsy buyers just this week use "other" as payment because that is how they thought they paid with credit card. So I had to explain, invoice, etc. I don't mind helping my buyers figure out the etsy buying process...but it just adds that extra (unnecessary) confusion.

Do you guys still have unclaimed deals?

I have quite a few unclaimed, but I always leave other open. I have a couple of customer that order regularly and pay with money orders,

Studio, I did really well. I sold 158 vouchers.

WOW!!!! That is AMAZING! Seriously, that is truly astounding. I am blown away. So if you have vouchers for $10 and you sell 100 do they send you a check for $1000? I think that's how it works? I have another deal now...my pix are better, getting much better votes, if you haven't done so, please vote for me.

SweetSallySoaps, one more question, do people buy over the voucher amount when they go to your shop? Thanks for all the info...it's great!

Having been in marketing for many years, I can tell you there are always the unclaimed ones....not sure how to handle that with the other option. Wish me luck - my stats are close to at par with a featured item, so far so good!:-)

SweetSally - no wonder you sold so many, your shop is stunning! If anyone can give me suggestions on labeling, I'd appreciate it...how do you do it, where do you get the materials, etc. what talent on etsy!

Studio, most of my sales were over the amount, a few a lot over, and several that spent less than the amount. I think only one hit the amount exactly.

I still have a few that are outstanding as well. I'm going to take the "other" option off and work with the Heartsy buyers as they come in. It will be easier to do that, then work with buyers who don't understand why they can't use a form of payment I say I take! :)

I still have three outstanding and would like to close the "other" option. I had someone who wanted to pay other than paypal this week...I hate having to convo back and explain the situation, thinking it will turn them off.

You could close off that "other" option and mention what to do in shop "announcements" for the others who come along. Would love to understand people's stats as much as they are willing to share...I find it very educational!
