Please Explain VIP vs Regular

Could someone please explain how VIP vouchers benefit your shop vs. regular vouchers? I have read a few comments that seem to say that its better to sell VIP vouchers, but aren't you just giving away $10 more free? Sorry, I'm obviously ignorant here!

I think that what you are seeing are comments saying that it is better to do a VIP Only deal. This is the best type of deal because you don't need to offer the extra $10 VIP credit. The trade off is that your deal is only able to be purchased by VIPs, not regular buyers as well, so it's a smaller pool of customers your selling to.

Terra, Sugar explained it perfectly. And for a feature, It all boils down to what you're hoping to accomplish. VIP only Deal = higher profits but about 1/3 (my estimate) the voucher sales, and obviously fewer shop sales as a result. A Regular Deal = higher voucher sales and higher shop sales, but lower profits, BUT also much more exposure.
