Heartsy Reject

I 'applied' to Heartsy some time ago and received plenty of votes but the Heartsy people still rejected my shop and I wasn't allowed a deal slot. I'm just curious if this has happened to others or if I'm the only Heartsy reject? I was under the impression that as long as you had the votes, you were in but this doesn't seem to be the case. Am I missing something? (I have since submitted another deal so we'll see how it goes!)

plenty of rejects!!! I was rejected the first time and made it in the 2nd time. I had enough votes both times

Thanks flirtbuttons - what was the difference between the two times do you think since you had enough votes? Or is that like asking why the sky is blue?!

some days I think it has to do with their mood! they prefer that your buyer and vip percentages be high.

I'm a repeat reject... actually currently waiting on my 5th attempt. Call me crazy, but I just had to try one more time!

I'm too a repeat reject... both with enough votes and not enough, you're not alone, many great shops are not accepted.

I got rejected 3 times before approval.

I don't think that they really go by quantity of votes anymore. Once you make the minimum amount of votes then they go by percentages. You need to be right at the average featured seller percentages otherwise its a no go.

I was told by the live help guy(nathen) the votes that they count are the regular buyers, If you get 500 votes but none are from their regular customers(buyers) then no deal. I found it very frustrating and gave up.

julie...even if he told you that it means nothing. they change their minds and methods from minute to minute. Sorry to sound negative, but it is the truth.

Their thought process makes me laugh though. If you are trying to get more VIPs, then offer the deals the non-VIPs are asking for and make it VIP only. Duh.

Don't hesitate to try it again. I didn't get accepted until my third try!

I have a feeling they also choose people based on what items they are selling and how much of a discount you are offering...who knows though

I got the votes every time and then some and was rejected every time and then some.

I joined Heartsy-Non to get over my addiction to pleasing Heartsy and it's working out...sort of...I'm on the 12 step program:-)

i'm on stage 3 for the third time. hoping for a miracle. there are so many flaws and inconsistencies in their process...yet as frustrating as it can be, it inspires lots of obsession, lol!
