Our grand opening is Saturday June 15th 2019. Sunday June 16th is Car Free Day on Main street and shoppers will be taking over the street. It'll be a great time to show your goods on Main. What is the Pink Flamingo Pop-Ups? We are a fun and funky shared retail space just off the busiest section of Main street in Mount Pleasant. Our retailers share a 3000 square foot freshly renovated space in one of the best shopping neighbourhoods in Vancouver. The space is divided to allow each retailer to show their individuality but with an open concept that enables a community feeling. The Pink Flamingo Pop-Ups is not a craft fair or event based market. It runs year-round, offering opportunities that go beyond the seasonal markets. What is a Pop-Up? Pop-ups are an exciting trend in retail that allows businesses of all sizes (including the small ones) to have access to a retail space in a popular area without the commitment or cost of a commercial lease. How does it work? Each lot is licensed by the weekend, week or month, for up to 5 months, whatever suits your specific needs. (Except opening week, which is only available by the week or month) You provide your own signage, staff, POS and marketing. We provide nearly everything else. Rates include: Wifi, power, heat, public washrooms, secure storage, slat wall shelves and pegs, lighting (spot lights that can be aimed at your displays), a changing room, ambient music, street signage space, security cameras and monitored alarm. The hours of operation for June are Wed to Sun from 11:30am to 6:30pm. How Much does it cost? With 7 units to choose from, there is something for every budget.
