Help, I'm so confused. Shipping. Is. The. Worst.
I started by setting a flat rate shipping amount for each item but got burned when it cost me more to ship than what I had estimated. So, I turned to Etsy's shipping profiles. I created a profile and applied it to the item, but it doesn't seem to calculate anything and the original amount I put for shipping, the flat rate, remains.
Creating shipping profiles doesn't seem to do anything even when applied to the item. Even when I create a shipping profile, the listing still asks for the dimensions even though I already input those into the PROFILE!
Can anyone explain to me how to manage shipping? Thanks!
