I just bought a small "light tent" from a photography store. It was $49. I also got 2 bright lamps from the hardware store (much cheaper than what you find at photography store). With these 2 items, I can now take photos that are bright but without harsh shadows like when flash is on. I am hoping this will help my photos. Try a google search on light tent or light box to get more info on them.
