Weekly Check-in: February 13

Hey HEAL team!

How are you feeling today? How was your week?

I feel great. I was a little bad this weekend, but it felt great to go out and blow off some steam. My stress levels are way down, and I feel like I can really make some progress this week.

In other news... I ran outside today! We had some melted snow leaking into our basement around the treadmill so I decided not to use it. It was a great run, except my earbuds kept falling out and I stepped in a huge icy puddle.

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day, and I plan on eating a decently health-conscious meal, but I do plan on drinking a good amount of wine.

I feel so-so about this week. I was stressed and wasn't paying attention to what I was eating. I didn't get enough exercise or enough water. I'm trying not to get discouraged and trying to stay motivated. I have set goals for myself to achieve this week:
-Exercise at least 4 days (hopefully 5 or more)
-Drink water with every meal
-Cut down on snacking between meals

I hope next week is better than this one!

This week was alright for more! Tore some serious new muscle in my hips and shoulders while strength training on Monday, so the soreness has made my exercise a bit more low-impact than usual.

Food wise, I was kind of bad in that I was not eating enough. I have a bad habit of hyper-focusing on things and forgetting to eat during the day, so I have actually been setting timers for every 3 hours after I eat. Whatever works, I guess!

Goals this week:
=> Weigh-in. I haven't weighed myself in almost 2 weeks, hoping to see at least -3lbs.
=> Jog/run outside. It has been far too long since I could.
=> Be in bed by 11pm!

I gained last week (my weight in's are on Thursdays) So I'm trying to be better this week. Last week was a TON of emotional eating.
So this week I'm focusing on making sure I'm actually hungry before I eat something.

Goals this week:
-NO emotional eating
-More spinning on my bike and power walking on the beach
-Relax. Stress seems to make me lose less.

I don't weigh myself, but I'm feeling better about how I look. And I think my pants fit a bit better. I did a crap job about eating well over the weekend....but I went roller skating on Saturday and had a ton of fun.

This week I'm going to try to exercise more regularly. And drink more water.

Last week wasn't great :/ I didn't eat terribly, but I only exercised 4 days...and didn't really push myself at all. I'm in a bit of a fitness rut I think.

I know I would do so much better if I would get myself out of bed in the morning and work out before work. This week I want to make myself do that at least 1 day!

Today is really hard!!! I just want to eat. I want to eat and keep eating! I feel like a person going off cigarettes! Could last weeks mess up put me back this far? I know I'm not truly hungry, but I feel the need to eat. uuggg.

I hear you SarahUndercover! My eating habits have seriously deteriorated over the past couple of months but I am determined to make some positive changes this week!

I haven't worked out since Saturday. I also have drank approx. one cup of water today. I don't know what's wrong with me. I feel like crap. Vicious circle, right?

Not so good yesterday. Plan to be better today. I'm doing WW and have lost 4.5 lbs in 9 days. Hope this Friday's weigh-in brings good results. I'm working on it :)

Oh goodness, I have been a bottomless pit this weekend. It didn't help that my mom and husband gave me so much junk as Valentine's presents. Also not helping: PMS.

Haven't exercised yet this week, but plan on it today. I haven't really been watching what I am eating but I have been good today so far so I am going to try to keep it up the rest of the week. I am weighing in on Sunday and I would be happy even if it was the same, but I would like to lose at least a pound.

I hope everyone can stay on track. I'm down -3.5lbs from about 9 days ago, so I am happy with that. Food has been kind of bad for me, we haven't made it to the grocery store and Justin is getting home after 7pm most nights so it's been a lot of eating out or breakfast for dinner (which I love).

Keep at it girls! Soon it will be spring and so many fruits and veggies will be back in season :) so hard to eat well sometimes, when it's all root veggies.

Well I was super surprised today. Thursdays are my weigh in. I lost 2.8!!! and hit 30 lbs total :D

Yay for all our successes and for getting through our failure and temptations :)

Way to go Sarah! Congrats :)

I planned on going to the gym before work at least one day this week, and since I didn't get my butt out of bed Monday-Thursday, I forced myself to do it today. Woo! My long term goal is to go before work every day, but I figured I better ease myself into it. It'll be so much better not to have to worry about it after work.
