Advice for Teaming up with Designers

I'm a maker......not a designer.

I mean technically, yes I can make or copy a design, but most people here have more creativity in their pinky finger than I have in my whole body.

I can take a design and put it on a USB drive, or a key chain, or a wine glass or a piece of leather or wood.......my problem is that I'm not creative enough to create my own designs.

So, does anyone have any advice as to how I can team up with graphic designers to bring their art to life?

I don't have any advice in particular but I think posting to team discussions that you are open to the idea is definitely a start! If a customer were to need something custom made and I didn't know where to go, well now I would probably ask you if you could produce it for me. I'm very new to etsy so I'm sure other, more experienced etsy shop owners may have a better idea of how to go about doing so.

Re: Advice for Teaming up with Designers

Hi, I just joined etsy today along with this group. So you are a printer, in a sense, yes? What are you looking to accomplish by teaming up with a designer? My graphic designs are always provided to my clients as a file and then they can do what they want. They usually tell me the medium and I'll prepare the color mode or file type accordingly.
