ACTIVITY: what projects are you working on?

Ok guys... This activity is to keep everyone inspired, and to help promote your stores.
This discussion can be read by anyone on etsy but only team members can post!

What you do is let us know the things you are working on, projects you are thiniking about etc, and then post a pic of one of your store items that is similar to what you are working on, or is the finished product!

I will post to show what i mean.

I'm going to start working on my patterns for my menswear line. I developed the prototypes this spring, but I still need to perfect the designs and work out all of my sizes before I can make everything available for sale. I think I will add them gradually to my shop instead of waiting until it's all done. I definitely want to have everything available by the Fall.

I just finished a choker and it is starching--I have a purse in rose to line (have to buy the material first!) and I currently have several other chokers in the works as well as a necklace and another choker.

I am in the mood to make a shawl or capelet, I may take thread for that on my vacation next week....

Everyone has fun projects! I am working on perfecting my fall line of scents and getting ready for a Steampunk Con! Also working on projects involving an RPG design and artwork for it, Officailly Licensed perfumes for several places (the major MP is very hard ot negoatiate with...many IP and CP issues) But all fun!

Im working on crochet wire and bead necklaces at the moment... A little fiddly to make but gorgeous end result!

Everyone sounds so happy and busy! Good. I just "pitched" myself at a store a few weeks ago and they like my stuff and would like to feature me as the artist of the month in October and see how things go from there. So I'm sewing like crazy and building up paper patterns in more sizes. I always design in size medium and go up and down from there. Quite tedious and time consuming but things have to fit right? Also taking care of a feral cat my boyfriend finally was able to catch at his work after noticing for about 10 days this poor guy had a prolapsed rectum. He got him to a vet, had surgery, got neutered, wormed and all that but he was doing too poorly to just take him back to his territory. So he's been recovering nicely in the tack room of an old barn on our property. We're giving him till the 4th is over and then he'll go back to his home. I would like to have been able to find a home for him but he is very very feral. Some cats are like that.

I'm working on a sterling ring using a clear vintage glass reflector a a cab- think I'd like to oxidize just the inside part of the setting to set off the almost honey-comb like pattern in the glass.

Also trying to fully climb back out of mope mode- a seller on a different venue (not Etsy) sent me a plastic "turquoise" cab. Wasn't a huge monetary loss but you know... it's always frustrating to have someone pull a fast one on you.

Everyone sounds busy busy busy!

I got rained out of the farmers market...woke up to pouring cats and dogs rain....sigh

So today is cards for Cupcakes...I just ordered cupcake soap molds! Those will be a blast...

It's too hard to sell cupcakes right now but they will be forthcoming!

Anyhow I might do pound cakes though...I'm debating.

I have two projects on the go for a client right now, a summery top, and a dress and shrug ensemble. Also my fiancé suggested that I teach him pattern drafting so that he can contribute to my business too. He's thinking of helping me design stuff :)
