Ok guys... This activity is to keep everyone inspired, and to help promote your stores.
This discussion can be read by anyone on etsy but only team members can post!

What you do is let us know the things you are working on, projects you are thiniking about etc, and then post a pic of one of your store items that is similar to what you are working on, or is the finished product!

I figured this would be the best place for me to ask for some feedback. :) As some of you know (and have purchased! Thank you!), I sell custom made badge reels and have a few goth-inspired ones. I have several different kinds of bats, and some that are done in profile - a woman with bat wings and a woman in front of a spiderweb, etc.

As a test to try out the resin I use to seal the images, I took an image of a scary looking monster dude and a little boy. Then, at another time when I needed to work with 2 mm flatback Swarovski crystals, I put a crystal on the scary monster's eyeball. I wanted to see how the crystal would look imbedded in the resin. It didn't have the desired effect I wanted. I did a bit more research and found that the sparkle on the crystals gets completely lost when sealing them within resin, whether completely, or just a little bit (I tried a little bit). The best way is to glue the suckers on.

OK, so here's my question. I have another cool image of a monster dude in profile with bats all around behind him (no kid, though!) and I thought about affixing a crystal to his eye.

Is this something you guys would think is cool? I haven't taken pictures of it yet, but to give you an idea of color scheme and style, here's the profile badge reels I'm talking about:

I just picked up some new stuff to decorate my trinket boxes with. So I feel I will be doing a bunch of boxes over the next week.

I am also in the testing stage for so all natural spray hair conditioning oils. The first one I am testing now is for normal hair and it is great! Since my hair is bleached and dyed regularly I have noticed a Huge difference!

I have some resin molds coming that I am quite excited about, but I am going to start a Day of the Dead diorama with "See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil" all Day of the Dead skeletons.

I have a Christmas in July farmers' market happening so I'm in the planning stages of new Christmas decorations. Also just finishing off some denim tote/book bags with quilted hearts appliqued to them.
