I've added you to my circiles on my business page if I could. I think some of you might be using personal pages which require you to add me before I can add you. Not sure, but I think this is the case.

I'm definitely finding managing two accounts (personal and business) complicated. Is anyone else finding that it's hard to do that? For instance, I would like to make my business page my default, so that when I open Google+ my business page shows up, but right now my personal page always does and it's hard to add people to my business circles as a result.

It's probably like Facebook, profile is the main, page is secondary :/

Hi Kteis, you're definitely right that the profile is higher up in the hierarchy than a page, but I was talking about two totally different kinds of Google+ accounts. I have a personal one that I use with friends, and I just added my business one for my Etsy shop stuff. There are different rules for adding people to circles, for instance, in a personal vs a business account. Businesses are not allowed to randomly go adding people they don't know to their circles, which I'm sure is to protect people from receiving advertisements and solicitations and whatever in their stream.

Kteis, I've just done some more searching on Google+ help and now see the difference in pages and profiles you mention. A person has only one profile; he or she can have multiple pages that do different things (promotes different businesses, for instance). One thing I have been finding very annoying is that my Lila page tells me that several people have added it to circles, but after I see on the notification list that that those people have added Lila to their circle, I can't see who those people are in the "have Lila in circles" section on the left side of the page. One of those people is you. I'm wondering if perhaps the reason I can't see you there is that you don't have a public profile. Is this true?
Apologies to everyone else if this exchange isn't interesting or useful for you. I kept it on this thread because I thought it might be useful for others, but I would have happy to convo with Kteis if you all would prefer. Thanks!
