Howdy, My name is Trevor Tubelle, I'm an artist based in San Francisco, and I've been doing Gocco printing for 10 years. I'm currently working on an alternative way to do Gocco printing without the traditional name brand supplies (as they're almost gone and too expensive anyway). I'd be happy to share what I'm doing and the suppliers and tools I'm using once I've got it all together and working properly. Or I could share what I've got right now if folks don't want to wait for me to perfect the system and would rather get it working for themselves more quickly. Just let me know. Also, I'm interested to know if other people are using or developing alternative Gocco supplies as well? Please share. Thanks, Trevor

Hello! I recieved a Gocco prink kit this christmas (hooray!) and I've been doing a lot of research into alternative methods and saving costs. At the moment, my main hurdle is the fact that all of the research for alternatives seems to be US based rather than UK. I am aware this forum has been quiet for a long time, but I was wondering if there are any fellow UK based Gocco users out there who can point me towards a good supplier of thermo screens, or any information on the success rate of European flash bulbs? GE ones are very expensive here in the UK, but there are bucketloads of Phillips Photoflux PF5 at much more affordable prices. If all else fails, I'll pick up a couple and see how it works out... but I'd rather not waste a screen!
