Tell us about you, your shop, how you got into art or any other details you'd like to share!

My name is Emma, I have been working on my artwork & online shop full time for a little over a year now thanks to the support of my awesome husband. I love crafting, nothing makes me happier. I enjoy trying all kinds of new techniques and mediums. My shop has a little something for all different kinds of interests and I love doing custom commissions!

Thanks for the invite!! My name is Catherine and I only opened my shop almost a year ago. I actually have to give credit to my friend because she made me an 8-bit hairbow and that's what got me started.

I love crafting and all things geeky so I decided to mesh the two and Geekapalooza was born!

I don't get a chance to do too many new designs as of right now because I am a high school biology teacher, so that takes up a bunch of my time! Hopefully I will have new designs up and ready to go soon!

Hi everyone! Thanks for the invite!

Uh well I have a bunch of degrees and tech training but none ever seems to stick, haha. Ive always done art in some form, and I found that people seem to like my stuff, including my signature "books". I tend to lean towards fantasy and scifi books as well as TV and movies and usually it inspires whatever artwork Im working on. Thanks and its nice to meet everyone!

Thanks for having me. My name is Joe and I'm into all kinds of art whether it's music, movies, visual, videogames-you name it! I'm primarily a singer/songwriter, currently working on a pop record full-time, but when I'm not doing that I'm creating retro nintendo pixel-scenes out of beads, paint and canvas. I hope to create my own retro-inspired videogame someday.

I used to be in publishing but e-readers are kind of making us obsolete now. So now I make puppets and geek themed dolls and playsets for a living. Can't wait to see what everyone else here makes and get to know you.

My name is Joseph and I've been running my etsy shop part time for about 6 months now. I'm hoping sales will pick up so I can do it full time and leave this cash for gold shop. I love comics and video games and get a lot of inspiration from them.

Hi,

Everyone's products are amazing! Thank you for the invite. I go by Belle. I am an educator and grad student. Whenever I can, I work on shop items, where I offer polymer clay charms. I've always been interested in many things related to video games, manga, anime, and sci-fi/fantasy novels.

Opening a shop was a sort of accident :-s. Art actually wasn't my strong suit growing up. I liked it; I just wasn't very good at it.

Around the holiday season a couple of years ago, I watched tutorials and came upon polymer clay charms. I thought I'd give it a try and made chibi versions of friends and family for gifts. My hobby extended to fan art of my favorite game/anime characters with the leftover clay. A friend suggested I open and shop here we are a little over a year later :-]. I also have a main shop on Weebly. I enjoy charm commissions from all over, but I really love uncommon-character requests.

I'm excited to be part of the group :-]

Hi, all! My teenaged daughter and I make geeky creations for our Etsy shop together. We began our Etsy store after we had a successful run at the craft fair at LeakyCon Chicago. We love Potter, Dr. Who, Buffy, Hunger Games, Sailor Moon, and lots of other nerdlicious things. Thanks for having us on the team:)
