How are your sales going?are you selling anything? I would love to know.

I have made three sales.It has been really slow but from what I hear it is the time of year at least thats what I'm blaming it on hopefuly it will pick up soon for me.

I just opened my shop on Feb. 1st. I'm not sure what "good sales" look like, but I sold my 8th item last night. I feel like I'm doing okay for being a new shop.

I keep reading that it's the "slow time" of the year, but it probably all depends on what you are selling, the quality of your goods, and how you are promoting your shop.

I'm trying to not worry about the number of sales I'm getting. I'm just working on making new items and improving my photography and promotion.

I agree with you Jen just because I like what I sell doesn't mean other people feel the same way it all depends on what people are looking for.That's great that you have sold 8 items I wish you many more.

I only opened my shop this month so sales are pretty slow but maybe it's like people are saying- a slow time of year. That's what I am hoping any way. I wish everybody luck! :-)

My sales have always been slow. But I treat this as a hobby, and not a business, so I'm not very serious and on the ball about it. I may become unemployed this summer, though, so I'm thinking of really stepping up my activity.

Hi Emily,I think For us busy people you have to look at etsy as a hobby a great way to show off our creative skills but from what I hear it's so important to have good pictures,use all your tag words,good banner,have a big inventory,and promote promote promote.I know I need to work on a few of those!!!

Hello, I'm new here so i thought I could pass by and introduce myself. since I haven't found an introduction thread i'll post here.
My name is Irene, from barcelona Spain and i make sprites and accessories with fusible beads. i'm sure i'm not the only one in this team ^^

My sells are low, yes, I started less than a month ago and I have 2 sales. Anyway, the shop is helping me to show my products and i've sold like 30 items so far to, friends of friends, friends of friends of friends. I guess any shop needs time to get promoted and its a matter of patiences and work on promotion.

Hi beading Irene,welcome to the team I think its a good idea to have an introduction thread for future members ill create one after this.I'm so glad you have made sales your shop is amazing I love the piranha plant!!!and everything else really :) I Favorited your shop and some items and i'm sure your shop will continue to be successful.
