Possible ocelot fur identification?

Hi guys,

I aquired this vintage fur coat recently and was hoping somebody who's really familiar with the different furs, particularly those used in vintage fashion, could help me ID it?

First of all, the markings are ocelot. I've never seen ocelot fur in person so am not familiar with the texture etc. to compare this with...

I'm wondering if maybe it is printed, onto say sheared beaver... I've got the opinions of a few members of the vintage fashion guild and they seem to be divided!

Any help would be appreciated, I'm wondering if I took the piece to my local taxidermist they might be able to shed some light on it..!
Thanks!

It doesn't look like ocelot, and I'm leaning toward it being a print.

It is definitely a printed fur. It's to coarse and even to be muskrat or beaver and the pelt sections would be much smaller. Either one would be very soft and they would also have little shiny guard hairs mixed in. (Even when they are plucked and sheared, there are always a few hairs that get missed) From the photos it appears to be a shearling (sheep skin) coat. Is it heavy?
