I see Etsy added 5 more photo slots. I just can't keep up with all these changes. I'm definitely not going to go back through each listing and add photos!
Hi ladies, we had the first half of the day with storms. Sounds like more in store for us tomorrow. A small tornado hit about ten miles from us last night but we only got rain and thunder.
Glad it is not worse knee damage Rosey. Sorry to hear about the team though
I think your listing looks good. I am not sure I will use all the photos. I know I will not in my yarn shop , you can only show a skein of yarn so many ways.
No signs of rain today but it is 95 and very muggy.
I was scared. I made sure I had my shoes on and my phone in my pocket! lol It looked so eerie outside. They are calling for more storms tomorrow. I hope they are wrong again.
Anne you sound like me , when we had the last tornado warning. I was sitting in my downstairs closet with phone, phone charger, portable radio ,flashlight, large bottle of water and my purse. There is one of my meds that if I miss taking I could die so I had that bottle of meds in my pocket. Thankfully, the tornado did not hit near my house and no one was injured where it did hit.
Tim, I hope you have better luck then me in getting the grass mowed. It took over a week to finally get weather and dry grass to cooperate. I still have the trimming to do but it is 98 out so I sit in the house with the AC on and ignore the lawn.
I think I need to go hide in that downstairs closet. I am just finishing up playing with the computer and getting ready for bed when I hear gun shots . I can not tell if they are in the complex or the one behind mine. You know how that type of sound travels.
I hope you didn't hear them again Debbie. I heard a big bang last night too. My husband said it was a large firecracker. I have no idea. I was fuming last night. The neighbors had a block party and had all kinds of stuff hauled in, bounce houses, dunk tank, job johnny's, live music. It started at 2PM and was supposed to be over at 10PM. We did get a paper about it but was never asked our opinion. They blocked off the whole street where we live. The township told them they needed 15 signatures to give the ok. Guess what, the music was still blasting after midnight. Of course they had beer and it wasn't only for our neighborhood. It was supposedly a fund raiser for the animal shelter. I felt like calling the cops but I really don't want to start anything with neighbors either. We got a new neighbor down the street and it seems the whole neighborhood is going to pot. All I kept hearing was this loud sound from the music they were playing. They didn't need to play the music that loud after the band left. This wasn't something to have in a neighborhood. You either have it at a park or rent a hall somewhere. It was ridiculous. There was no way I was going to that. You were supposed to pay $30 for a family. I wonder how many people actually paid. A lot of people in our neighborhood are older now so I didn't see many of them down the street. I'm just hoping this isn't a yearly thing.
I agree Tim, If I ever sell and move it will not be in another condo. I also have neighbors that think it is ok to party all night or let their dog bark all night under my bedroom window.
I don't live in a condo but in the suburbs. We never had an issue before. We've lived her since 1990. We lived in the mountains before with no neighbors. It was quiet but everytime we had to go somewhere it was a lengthy drive. It really got old in a hurry. The best part was seeing all the wild animals. We had everything from deer - wild turkeys, even bears at the end. I did not like the snakes!
We are just outside of a small town, lots of farmland around us. We are only five minutes from everything, but far enough away from busy streets and such. I just am over the association and all of the rules it imposes. I mean they complain if you paint, put mulch down, you name it. It feels like Stepford Wives
