I had an order in this shop last evening and I didn't receive the etsy transaction email until this morning, 9 hours later. I hope this will not be how things are going to keep working.
Anne , according to the forums message etsy was having a problems with emails and it tool all day to fix. There are some emails still caught in the delay. Hopefully, it is fixed . I know I am waiting on a time sensitive response on an order.
I was a very bad girl today. I went for my early morning kidney ultrasound appt at my doctors. You have to drink 1-2 bottles of water prior to the test. So I was very well hydrated if you know what I mean. I get there to be told the tech quit and all ultrasounds were cancelled and had to be rescheduled elsewhere.
However, I was never notified. I was not happy. I have to go back Monday and then see my doctor as a work in. I asked who was paying for all this extra parking expense ($5.00) for each visit. They said we do not validate parking . I told them you do today, it is not my fault you never called. They took up a collection and paid my parking.
Good for you Debbie! That happened to me one time. I had to drink a lot of water for an ultrasound. I can't remember how much but I was ready to burst. When I got there they told me the machine wasn't working and sent me to the hospital. I told them I couldn't wait any longer at the hospital and was going to re-schedule. She told me to use the bathroom and just go a little bit. I thought to myself, yea right. I did do that and they took me in right away then. That is an awful feeling. I wouldn't be able to do that anymore since I'm older!
It is very hot here also. I could not survive if I did not have a working AC.
Had my kidney Ultrasound this morning , all was stable. My doctor was very pleased and said unless I have problems I do not need to have another one, just a routine visit in 6 months.
Yes, AC a must with the 90+ degree weather. We have it too. Although when I was at my daughter's volunteer job with her, I was cold. I couldn't wait to get outside to warm up. As soon as I was in the car, I was wishing for AC again until the car cooled off!

Our warm weather continues. Sunny and 88 today with a chance of showers later. We were supposed to get storms last night but they missed us and we got about five minutes of rain. Works for me!
Tim we got the storm you were supposed to get. Terrible thunderstorm came through blowing the transformer across the street. I had no power for about 4-5 hours. Felt like I was camping had sandwich's, listened to my portable radio and played with my tablet. With the room lite by portable lanterns and flashlights.
Nice cool day today temps in the high 70's. I should weed whack my courtyard but it is still to wet. I have no desire to play in the mud today.
We are supposed to get those storms today. I hope they miss us but we do need some rain.
Last night I tried to use my one credit card online and it wouldn't work. We found out someone hacked our credit card number and attempted to use it from the UK. The company luckily caught it right away and shut our card down. Now I have to wait for a new one. What we have to go through to keep our information safe. My husband called and it took him about 20-30 mins. to wait and then they had to verify everything, call him back to make sure it was our card.
I have to make 350 flowers in my other shop and I don't feel like it! I have another order I've just about completed.
Wow Debbie, that stinks. Glad your power came back on though. We have a hundred year old grid that our place is tied to and if the sun shines too long, the power goes out.
Looks like we are in the way of some rain and possibly storms again today though. Hoping nothing bad!
Anne, congrats on the sale. I am sure you are tired of making that many flowers. I know I got burnt out with my helicopters, still have 17 to go which is better than 40.
My nice neighbor came over with his little lawnmower and cleaned up my yard. I told him I should get a small mower likr his, I think I could use that better than the weed whacker. He said he may get a new one a little bigger for his yard and and if he does he will give me his little one.
I am tired of making the little flowers. The customer usually wants the same flower for all 350. The other order was for butterflies so that was a change. She wants hearts too but i'm not sure what colors or how many yet.
So far we didn't have any storms but they are calling for some through Monday. Monday is supposed to be the worse day. The weather people never seem to get it right so I wait until the day comes!
