I wish I had motivation to crochet. I keep adding to my other shop. Maybe I should just close the other shop but I think I will just sell whatever sells.

I finally went to my PCP yesterday. I wasn't there for at least 2 years. I needed a prescription so I knew I would have to go anyway + I have a new insurance and the copay doesn't cost an arm and leg. I do have to go for blood work though. Then he was telling me about all the immunizations I could get. Ugh! I also am due for a colonoscopy, so much fun stuff. I just keep putting this stuff off.
The crazy weather here is driving the weeds in my courtyard crazy. Here it is Feb and I have tall weeds and dandelions growing. It is 70 degrees one day and 40 the next.
Anne, I know how you feel going to the doctors. I have to go or my disability checks will stop. I had to have all the adult immunizations before my docs would refill my meds. I had to get a new PCP , have an appt in March not sure what to expect.
I didn't get any immunizations. He said, I see you aren't a big fan of immunizations. Yep, he had that one right. I did get my blood work done today. Hopefully all is well there too. I've been eating really healthy so we shall see.
I will keep my fingers crossed that your lab work comes back ok...
The immunizations were not bad , no reactions and only need them once. I had the shingles (to hopefully reduce my chances of getting them again, once was enough) and then the new pneumonia shot.
So far I have had 3 sales in my yarn shop. Listed more tonight so we will see how it goes.
Looks like everyone is doing well and making sales. Keep up the good work. I haven't been to a real doctor in years. Every time I hear someone is having this test or that test I think I should call. I never do. Got to do some research and find us one primary care doctor. Our insurance stinks now thanks to the care program by our out going president and his team.
That's why I didn't go to the doctor. My insurance had a real high co-pay. I switched this year and the co-pay is low but the deductible is higher. They get you one way or the other. My tests showed my thyroid not working properly so now I have to take that medicine. I want to see if it makes a difference because I changed my whole diet, no red meat and lots of vegetables and hardly any starches and I'm not losing weight. I read if your thyroid isn't working properly, it can affect all kinds of things in your body so I want to see if it helps. I'm not a big pill person. I asked if there was an alternative and they said no.
Anne, if the pills work like they should you should also have more energy.
I am anxious to see if I like my new primary doc. I see him in March. Before I developed sarcoidosis I rarely went to the doctors now I live there.
Just got home from a doctor appt and I better get my butt moving and get crocheting I still have lots of aircraft to make. My yarn shop is doing ok and I must find time this weekend to photograph some more yarn.

Went to the hematologist today and she said she felt that the elevated labs were either a very low grade infection that will not go away or more likely my sarcoidosis that everyone thought was suppressed was not and I have been having constant inflammation. She wants to see me again in 6 months unless my labs get worst.
It's supposed to snow tomorrow. It was 60 degrees today! I'll believe it when I see it tomorrow. The temperature is going to have to drop drastically for snow.
I took my first thyroid pill today. We shall see how this goes.
Anne, how are the thyroid pills working. Tried to lower the dose of my steroids but did not go well. Will try again in a few days,
Weather warm today, but cloudy , working on orders. had to go buy new shelving for my craft room. the wire cubes that I had my yarn in came apart and I could not put it back together. I think I bumped it.
When I had the fire a few years ago the cleaning crew for some crazy reason tried to move it as one unit and broke it. I was able to put it back together then but it never was as sturdy as before. This time I bought a storage shelves unit.
Anyone use calculated shipping. I think I need to try and figure that out with my yarn shop. There is a big difference in cost between 1 or 2 skeins of yarn then 3 or more and it is almost impossible to come up with the right figure without way overcharging for the 1-2 skein purchase.
I had to go back to the dr on Friday because I had wax in my ear and they felt all closed. My blood pressure really went down. I have no idea if it is from the thyroid medicine or not. I started drinking kefir too so I have no idea why it was lower.
I use calculating shipping if I have to ship Priority. The other classes I figure out myself.
Been trying to figure out the new change for supplies. since I now haw supply shop. Admin keeps saying no monthly or extra charges just the normal listing and transaction fees. If you have a supply listing then it will be seen in both your shop and the studio. You have nothing yo do I believe except make sure your listing is in the supply category,
I think that is how I understand it too Debbie. I didn't get a chance to really read a lot about it though. I have 2 orders from my other shop to make and this one is keeping me stepping too.
So I guess the Etsy studio is just for supplies and DIY items. Sounds simple enough. I still have to change my shop with all the other changes. Oh well. Kids are now off until Tuesday. It has been a long winter and yet we haven't had winter. I find myself taking more naps but that happened when I caught this stupid cold. I can't wait until Monday. It is suppose to be in the 70's.
