Thank you all for the nice words on my work. Yes, Netanel is going 8 months on Saturday. He is standing holding onto the chairs, sofa and walking by them. he is eating fruits and soups and whatever I give him to eat lol. He's playing by himself, watch TV and I do crafting then. He's such a good baby (tfu tfu tfu).
Debbie, I hope they gave you a good price for your dental problem. I had a tooth implant and I'm paying for three years. Yikes! But it's great to have that gap in my mouth patched up lol. How do you make the Cha-ching in the phone? is it an app?
Aubrey, no great price for the dental work the only thing I got was the ability to make payments for 4 yrs.
The cha ching comes from the etsy app I have on my phone and tablet. I heard it again today while at Walmart. my humidifier stopped working so I was trying to get a new one. The lady in front of me was faster and she took everyone they had, she said she wanted one for each room, so I will need to check another store.
We have to use humidifiers all year round in the house for my daughter's dry eyes. I finally splurged and bought her one online for her bedroom. It was from an allergy website and so far it has been worth it. It really puts out the humidity toward the ones in the stores.
I can't believe how old your baby is already Aubrey. I was thinking he was only a few months old. How the time flies!
Got my new humidifier and table to put it on near the bed, will see if this helps. Also was started on a very strong antibiotic that leaves a terrible metal taste in your mouth. The pharmacist told me to eat chocolate after taking it to see if that helps.
Just when i thought I'm finally going out of the pit, my tires needed changing and the front lights burnt so there goes all my sales. lol So not fun :( Oh well, I wouldn't want to walk so I'm thankful for the sales that I'm able to pay haha.

I still have 2 orders to make and a big doll order for a friend. Yikes! They are Christmas gifts so I better go back to work.
Aubrey, I definitely know how you feel with the unexpected bills.
I am waiting for the other shoe to drop as they say. I reported a water leak in front of my neighbors condo and when I just got home the plumber had been here to investigate and the areas of where they want to dig include my carport and his. I already replaced my water line so it better not be a problem I have to pay for.
I still have way to many orders that would like them for Christmas if possible so off I go to see what I can do. Just mailed one order off this morning and hope to hand deliver one tomorrow.
How many orders do you have right now Debbie? This shop was really doing great but slowed down this weekend and nothing yet today. My other shop is completely dead.
I was able to complete one more last night that I need to hand deliver to a lady at Walmart. Sleep is not the problem , moving my fingers is the problem. I have to take breaks to avoid the constant cramping.
so off to Walmart I go, get my daily walk in, have lunch then back to the crochet hook. I am trying to decide if I have enough gray yarn or if I need to place an order. you can not get it in the stress anymore you have to order online and they never have it on sale. The best I can do is wait for reduced or free shipping.
oh debbie, thats a lot of work. I too, sometimes wonder if my fingers will hold out for me. I sometimes take a lot of local orders and then my daughter is always wanting something for one of the kids.
I was challenged with my grandson wanting a crochet dinosaur "nest" and eggs. I didnt even know what a dino nest looked like. but i was able to get it done lol
craft, I would not even know where to start on making a dinosaur nest, glad you were able to figure it out.
The lady I delivered the helicopter to just loved it and stopped every Walmart employee that went by to show them. when I was leaving she was showing a client the aircraft and pointing to me.
I have problems with my fingers too Debbie. I would have both problems though. I would stay awake at night thinking about all the orders I have to complete!
I buy all my thread online for the crocheting. I can never find all the colors in the stores. I try and order when they have free shipping too. Shipping prices are so expensive.
Good evening. What a slow Christmas season. It's so slow I have no desire to even sew anymore. I have one last show and I have made nothing new. I guess they will need to buy what is left over. I may even drop a few prices to make some things move.
I'm not motivated to crochet either Rosey. My other shop is dead again. I had 2 sales again in this shop and it was really busy after Thanksgiving. Do you think it is from having to change your shop?
yes, i understand that vintage items are doing well. believe it or not, i've bought a few myself. From time to time, I am buying a bell for my granddaughter annabelle, because i call her belle belle. My daughter in law is making a collection for her. I told her when she gets older and responsible, i will give her my dads, her great grandpa's, old cow bell. lol
I wish we could make special notes stand out within our shops. I have received 3 orders between yesterday and today all stating they need their hand made to order aircraft made and delivered by the end of next week. My current turnaround time is stated as closer to 12-16 weeks, but am trying to close that date time down some. I offer to cancel but so far they all say ok, I will give as a birthday gift instead.
Done venting, now off to crochet. I have 3 aircraft almost finished and ready to ship Monday.
I agree Debbie. People don't read very much on Etsy. I thought about closing my shop next week until after Christmas. Some people expect miracles. They don't realize we don't mail the items. In your case, they don't realize how much time it takes to make an item.
