Creating New Threads

You are welcome to create a new thread if you see that a topic has not been reached yet. Feel free to start a topic for your craft so that you can share your ideas with others interested in the same thing.
Don't be scared to start a topic just because this team is new. It might take some time to make this team an active community, but we can do it if we each invite others who would be interested.
So make sure to share with your family and friends and anyone you know who loves to craft, and if they don't have an Etsy account encourage them to create one.
Etsy is an awesome place to see beautiful creations from folks all around the world, it's way more than just a site to sell whatever you can find like ebay, these are real people putting their love and time to make things they love. Buying a handmade item on here isn't the same as buying it from a superstore like Target or wherever, where you buy a knitted scarf with no idea who actually made it - probably that $20 scarf you're buying was made by some poor soul in another country who was only paid a few cents for several hours of their time, then the corporation marks up the items price to many times what they paid for it to sell to the mass public....okay, getting a little ranty here. My point is, Etsy is a beautiful, wonderful place where people are given a chance to really make a living off of their craft that they love and actually have control over the price they make for their time and care.
So please, feel free to start new topics so all crafts and niches are discussed. Contribute whenever you like, or quietly observe. Whichever is your method of participating. Share our group so we can reach out to all and share our love of crafting so that these crafts can live on :)
Here is our group link if you can't find it. Share this to whomever you think would want to join. And make sure to introduce yourself in our Introductions section.

Hi,
I'm new to this team, and I enjoy crocheting, crafting, sewing, knook, jewelry making, and pen & ink drawing. I enjoy making new friends, corresponding with people who share the same hobbies. I am a retired secretary, and I am enjoying all my free time to do what I like most. I love sharing ideas with others, and look forward to meeting other members here.

Nice to meet you Joan!
I enjoy a lot of the same things. If you have anything you'd like to share about any of those topics, feel free to start a new thread to get a conversation started :)
We don't have many people yet, but the more we invite the more diverse a community we'll have to talk about all our crafts.

Hi Amanda! I'm Orlee and I am brand new to this etsy team..actually to any etsy team! I love hand making my own jewelry and I would really like learning a new technique! I am 13 years old and have been making jewelry for 2 years now. It has become a huge part of my life and i would love to share my skills and techniques with others while learning new ones myself.
Thank you so much!,

Thanks Amanda! It's nice to be here. I'm new here too. I'm sure we can get more members if we try to invite as many as possible. Share with Facebook and post on Twitter, that might help.
Welcome to Orlee too. I make jewelry too, but haven't sold any here on Etsy. Good luck with yours. Nice to see young folks taking up a hobby, and selling what they make.

Hi - I'm also new to Etsy so I'm just getting my feet wet with these forums.
My Etsy shop is focusing on paper crafts in the form of party decorations but I do all kinds of crafts like all of you - knitting, crocheting, beading, photo editing (I think that counts, right?) and lots more.
Feel free to peruse my blog and if there's anything you want to chat about I'll gladly share my tips: byfrankie.com
I look forward to sharing some crafty ideas!
Frankie

Error! That is NOT MY ITEM! Somehow there has been an error, and I have no idea how I got this item here. Go figure!
