Hilfe! A question about very expensive credit card in Germany!

Hi!, I hope you can help me about this subject:
"Credit Card in Germany"

I have get one from DB because Etsy was insisting on having a credit card to open a shop.

Well, ok, everything has gone smooth. But I'm selling nothing here and I only keep on paying card services to the bank! Already 44 euro has gone for nothing. This is too expensive! How you manage it here in Germany? May I cancel my credit card and keep my shop?

I am not living in Germany all the time so I have this card only for Etsy. What are the other options?

There is another very recent thread in German

where Admin Antje states that one can open a shop without a credit card, using PayPal. So you should be able to continue here without a credit card, paying through Paypal. But I doubt that DB will give you back a part of the annual fees.
