Hallo! Newbie hier!

Hello! I moved to Berlin recently and I've been learning german for 2 weeks now (woohoo!) It's certainly not enough to understand most of the forum threads, but I hope it will improve with time :) Oh, and I opened my store 2 days ago, so I'm a newbie in all senses I suppose!

I would like to ask you something... I was told that to sell online in Germany we need to have a legal "impressum" in german in our store... do you know something about this?
Does it apply to etsy as well? Or is it just for webstores hosted in Germany?

I just want to be sure I will not get fined, heh!

Hi Carolina! I see you are in both teams :D. I already answered this on the thread in the Berliner team, but just to clarify to others who visit this thread with the same doubt: at the bottom of your policies there's a place in which to write this Impressum information (only for countries that require it, like Germany). That is your information as a seller based in Germany, and Etsy will manage their website's legal status themselves.

Hey there, thank you so much for the replies! I'll see if I can find some german friend to help me out with those websites... It's a shame they don't seem to be in english (and before I can read them it will take a few more german lessons ;))
