Whats the best way to. . .

Whats the best way to promote Supplies? Since Etsy took away normal forums it makes it hard for sellers to interact & promote together there used to be posts every minute of every hour some where on the forums now most the groups I am in have a post every hour or so if that. I am trying to list & sell all of my destash & extra supplies which is about 200 listings worth of items but they hardly get any views even though they are all really great supplies & some are at Killer prices

for example I sold a Sterling Silver Slide Bead set that had two of every letter for $15 the original site they were bought from sells them for $15 A PIECE or $5 each if you buy in bulk.

What are some good ways to promote supplies? I tweet but most that follow me rather see my jewelry not my supplies.

that is a very good question. and i do not have the answer for you. i know i've clicked on supply shops that advertise on craftopolis before and bought stuff from them. don't now how lucrative that is, but at least you're marketing to crafters and that's who would be buying your supplies. :)

Keep listing! When you reach about 100, 200 and more you really should see things pick up. Remember - don't list all at once. Add something new every hour or so throughout the week.

So you don't want to try to draw people before you have a really big selection. When you do:

You get on a list and he'll repeat when you ask again too!

Find blogs that deal with jewelry and leaver your shop url.

Are you on teams?

Re: Whats the best way to. . .

Thanks for the tips! Right now I am at 61 listings I am slowly working my way towards 150-200 I try to list 5-10 new items a day so that it spaces everything out a little & attracts new people in. Thanks for the website I haven't heard of it.

SavoyFaire - Yes I am on 31 teams but they don't seem to help much

I think renewing a lot is a good idea because people like me are always looking for beads, and I almost never go past the 5th page before I find something.

I know a lot of people say to renew items but I find that when I renew items It only generates a few views vs listing a new item which would get more views. I have heard goods & bad's about renewing.
