Canon, and you aren't going to get a better answer.
When buying a camera, or at least, a point and shoot camera (Because as of now I'm not sinking in a thousand on a camera :) ) You have to look at a couple of things. The obvious: Picture quality/shutterspeed etc, but, also the less obvious.
How long will this camera last? Too many point and shoots are shot in a year.
What type of software does the camera have? Okay, if you have a great camera, but bad software, it's not going to do much for you, or your shop. If your software takes a long time to load basic pictures (By long any more than thirty seconds for about 30 pictures), than it will almost certainly lead to procrastination, especially if you have to edit your pictures. Plus, after a while, you'll want to pull out your hair.
I currently have a Canon Powershot (Insert correct number here), and, it's amazing. Mine is a high end point and shoot hybrid mixed with a low end DSLR.
The pictures are excellent.
The software is perfect.
The life span is what I need in a camera. My olympus, my sony, and my nikon all died within a year of purchasing them, but had problems within a couple months. This one has not had so much as and it's been about 8 months since I got it, but just by feeling it you can tell it's not going to brake any time soon.
Camera's are a very important investment in your shop. Your going to want a lot of megapixels in your camera (My powershot has 14.1, your going to want about 14) this way your pictures are very high in the subconcious detail (I.E just because your pictures aren't blurry doesnt mean your getting a great shot),
Fotofuze, a light box (with a daylight bulb) and a canon will give you professional results every time. You can make a light box easily with nothing more than tissue paper and a white box.
Browse through my shop, all the white pictures were taken with my Canon and all of the red ones were taken with an Olympus of the same price. The olympus shutter speed? It was slow enough to drive me insane. Blurry pictures 9/10 times, granted this is low light, the canon took a sharp picture every time in every light.
