My current vent: I need to get off Shop Stats. Going for a jog!

Yay! I love jogging/running! Shop Stats is SO dangerous, Mana, don't feel alone if you check it compulsively. My problem is that I've become reliant on the teams to generate my view counts, while my sales seem to have come through searches... The more I spend ON Etsy, the less time I have creating... and yet I can't look away!

@Kym - being sick is horrible. I had mono last year and have done everything to avoid getting sick this year. Knock on wood, it has worked!
@Lisa - I don't think ANYONE likes the DMV, or anything that involves picking a number and waiting, unless it's a bakery ^_^

I'm gaining weight. :(
I lost a bunch last year when I was laid off. I was happy with my weight and I felt so good. Then I got a job and I sit in front of a computer all day. I work out every day and don't eat much but my clothes are getting tighter and tighter. Working is making me fat! I do not want to put all that weight back on! arrrgggg

DAMN, I mean what kind of person am I when I go to a printing business and the person working there tells me "Yeah, my coworker runs away every time she see's you".... She continued to (very seriously) say: "You always make us do the weird and hard work and it's not fair"....

They hate me because I make them work hard....

These people were utterly incompetent too ... They charged me double because "The work was too hard", they didn't get the order right, they kept messing up.

according to a 'new' quote from my car insurance I'm paying too much. So I used the awesome feature of emailing them for some help. Their reply three days later:

I tell you, everyone has their own issues. We all have them, but they are different.

Anything car related makes my blood boil. My friend recently got in a car accident where it was the other person's fault (they came into my friend's lane...) yet neither their nor his insurance will cover it?! o_O

My personal website payment is due in two weeks and I haven't made enough sales in the past month to cover it. It's an auto draw from my account. They've over drawn me three times in the past three years because I never get an email before they do it. >_<

I have a vent. I earned a store credit in the form of a gift certificate for a local fabric shop in town. I went to use it today and I was under the $ amount of the certificate. they made me buy $5 more stuff just so I could use it. wtf!
I looked it up online and in my state which is WA it is illegal to request the consumer spend the amount on the gift certificate. If they spend under the amount they can either have further store credit or if under $5 they can receive it as cash money. I don't know if I want to email them and let them know that they are violating state consumer laws or if I want to print the section out and if I get another gift certificate then present it at checkout. I was a bit put out that I had to spend more so I could pay sales tax and then some. I would have called it even with my little purchase with tax being $3 under the certificate amount. It's not about being out the dollar amount on the gift certificate it's about being told that I should spend more so I could use it.

I have friend who is ticked at them because they wont honor her old punch card. even though the dollar amounts on the punch cards haven't changed.
