Hi I'm Kathy.
Just wanted to say how annoyed I am when I make a treasury and some of the people in it can't be bothered to "like" it. Passive/ aggressive of me? Probably.

We all have those little things that annoy us. I don't even notice when people don't like the treasuries I've made, but believe me, I have other pet peeves. I'd say more but this is a public thread. LOL

I'm sadly one of those that don't "like" them. But.......I do click on them, I do comment and quite often I'll post it on one or another of my social media thingies.

To be honest, I never even noticed you could like it.

I almost always like the treasuries my items are in. I understand how you feel though, because it kind of annoys me when featured shops dont even bother to click. But what really annoys me is when a seller doesnt comment. I convo every shop I feature, so its not that they dont know. I tell myself theyre probably away but didnt put their shop on vacation. : )

I usually "like" treasuries I'm in, and comment too. But just occasionally I can't. I was in one recently and the item in top left I found quite offensive - I just didn't want to share it with my circle!

eta - but when I ake them, I rarely find mo than a handful like it. I certainly don't expect it.

I can understand not favoring a treasury with items you find offensive. I do some Day of the Deead stuff and sometimes people go in a very dark direction with skulls.I make happy skulls!

I enjoy treasury's.
I have had peeps remove their items from the treasuries I build. Maybe they don't like their placement in the quilted arrangement?

I always respond with a thank you and I am off to promote.

It just seems the polite thing to do, acknowledge those who've chosen your item and try to encourage others to view the selection.

I think maybe, some sellers get "too big" for their own britches and think its below them to participate in treasuries. My two cents.....

LOL I've seen some being removed too crudeco! Sometimes I hope it's just because they've expired, not a comment in itself.

There's some kind of bug with expiring items in treasuries, but etsy won't acknowledge it.

when an item expires, it's been losing some of it's treasuries, but not all.

People thank things for granted is what I think. I get excited when people use my stuff in one. I forget to like them sometimes but always comment. I use to make more but now if I do it is just for etk. I think I will make a couple this weekend. :) Thanks for reminding me!

I wont like it if theres a reseller in it though. No, I have been in some with one or even two, and I hate to say it but I barely acknowledge those. In our last team treasury challenge there was a few included by mistake, and because I knew the curators well I did convo them and tell them. We dont want our team associated with that, you know?

Sometimes people's lives get busy. I wouldn't take it personal; certainly, some people respond. I was really involved making treasuries and was on a treasury team and it was a blast. Things changed in my life, so I had to cut out a few things and that was one. There are all kinds of Etsy people on here, some wear one hat, some wear many. If you include items from shops you admire, support, enjoy, etc., then just enjoy yourself and have fun with it.

I have treasuries that I built two years ago, sellers convo me often with remarks about the hits they still receive from in one of my treasuries.

The items are not removed purely from being sold.

And for me, its the same team members all the time. Kay Surat Surat.

I maintained all my treasuries and fill in the spaces when one leaves do to expiration or being removed. I like to collect views on each one.

I thought, yesterday? one of my new listed items were featured in someone else treasury. I had 52 vies and of those 42 were favorites? But no treasury, just luck.

LOL corinne I was on regretsy several times, that nativity was in the book too. I still get views from it.

I was one of the very first featured on the site and it was very different back then. April was seeking out off-the-wall items back then, not hunting down resellers and rubbishing poor work.

The truly funny bit about the nativity being featured is that up until that moment I had not noticed that I'd taken the pics and listed them without stitching Mary's nose...talk about unobservant! Anyway, when I realised I asked April and she kindly switched to a pic after adding the nose. ooops.

a few years later, April said that looking back all the early stuff had become mainstream, nobody blinks twice at a meerkat nativity now.
