Help! Mailing Fiasco!

So my sister bought jewelry from me. Two separate times-two packages. Though they were mailed a couple days apart, they both passed through a local sorting facility on the same day. (One was mailed before the snow storm and one was after) They passed through on 1/28 and my sister hasn't received them yet! I live in GA and she lives in OK. It should take just a couple of days!

The tracking numbers just say they left the sorting facility and that's it.

Help!

Call the Post Office and see if they can track it better. Or have your sister call her Post Office to see if they can find it. I have had to call my local PO several times to find packages that were sent to me but never delivered. One time, the mail carrier made a special trip back to my house to deliver my package and another time I had to drive to the PO to pick one up.

I agree, call. They often don't scan the packages all along like they're supposed to. Its probably in her town by now.

Her mail already came for today, so we know she didn't get it today. I've never had a package this delayed!

Please remember mail is backed up do to weather conditions across the country. :) Just ask them to track it.

Bad weather is affecting mail across the country. There are packages tied up in airports that can't move because of the storms.

And even here in the valley of the sun there's mail that's not moving very fast to some parts of the country because of the miserable weather there.

There seems to be huge delays all across the country and not just with USPS.

I got a 'status update' today about a package that was shipped FedEx on Jan 31st from Georgia. Under normal circumstances it would arrive here on Feb 6th - 1 week in transit. But right now the scheduled delivery date isn't until Feb 11th.
