Set It & Forget It - Easy Team Retweets!!! (Updated)

Hi Team,

As you know, the Team's Twitter account Retweets the Team and some of our followers. The idea in doing so is to make it easy to Retweet each other.

With that in mind, below are easy instructions for setting up your own Auto Team Retweets using roundteam.co (a free service).

1. go to: roundteam.co and sign up using your twitter account

2. select the option for "List" (this is the option for Retweeting a Twitter list)

3. set it to Retweet our Team Twitter List: etsymeetntweet/etsymeetntweet-team

etsymeetntweet - goes in the first space
etsymeetntweet-team - goes in the second space
leave the third space empty

for our followers the list is etsymeetntweet/etsy-meetntweet-followers

THE FOURTH STEP IS VERY IMPORTANT

4. SET THE FILTERS – After you add the list hover of it with your cursor and you should see an icon that looks like a filter click it and select the filters for

I recommend: 'No Conversations', 'No Retweets' 'Minimum RT Interval' 10 (mins) and ‘Max Minutes Ago’ sometime btw 60-14440 (1hr to 1day)

I suggest 10 minutes or more for the interval between your retweets so that you don't overwhelm your account/Followers with Retweets.

PLEASE NOTE: 3-4 auto Retweets between your Tweets is plenty! and be sure you are Tweeting your stuff otherwise there won’t be anything of yours for the team to Retweet! (try http://etsy-fu.herokuapp.com/ for tweeting your shop listings)

And that's it! You can go back and tweak the settings if needed, otherwise your done.

Try following these instructions below. I had to do this once when my account stopped retweeting.

How to Reconnect:

Sometimes it's needed to re-connect Team to RoundTeam. It may be required especially when you don't see your Team retweeting stuff. Make sure you understand retweet timeframes, though. These are the steps to re-connect Team to RoundTeam

1. Log in to RoundTeam, Disconnect your Team from our service Log in to Twitter

2. Go to this URL: https://twitter.com/settings/applications Revoke access from your Twitter application (the one you registered to RoundTeam)

3. Go back to RoundTeam, link your Team again via "Link Twitter account" button.


If it doesn't help, and you still don't see your retweets, please email us roundteam@roundteam.co. We will do our best to resolve this issue quickly.

pinkmouse, I had a similar problem. My account had retweeted 5 tweets then paused my account. I just had to activate it again. Knowing this I will check it once a week to make sure it is still active.

I have seen no retweets this morning from the team. I know my account is retweeting some but I don't think as many as in the past. Tried to reactivate it but don't know if I did it right.

Hi, I don't know what is happening with roundteam. I've emailed them also. In the meantime I am working on an alternative to get us back retweeting!!!

Yep mine has stopped too not blocked or paused , I have just reset my filters and team to see if that helps :-(

My account appears to have been reset. I did get this email from roundteam and am not sure what rules I violated but will explore
