First let me say...you all seriously rock!!! I can see the strength of our team growing and I think we're ready to up our game and really harness the power of Twitter.
We know that Twitter is a great way to drive traffic to our shops and with that comes the chance for a sale. If we look at Etsy's official Twitter we can see that a tweet from them leads to thousands of item page views and often a sale that same day!
To that end, I will be testing out ways for us to really build up our Twitter followings, both as a Team and individually, in order to massively increase the traffic to our shops.
Please look out for upcoming threads but for starters...
1. Treasuries - Lets use them to raise our team profile both on and off Etsy by a) creating them in volume with our team info, links and tags and b) continuously Retweeting them over a period of time.
I have created lists for you that should help make team treasuries easier to create. (More on Treasuries in a separate.post.)
2. Here's something (optional) you can do right away. You can add the following line to your profile: Member of Team @EtsyMeetNTweet
The @EtsyMeetNTweet becomes a link. I've added it to my twitter accounts and its been a great way to send people to the team's twitter.
3. Lastly, Retweeting each other is a must. It's the best way for us to take advantage of our collective followings. It's part of our Team Rules because it just doesn't make sense for us to be a team and not retweet each other.
