Our EtsySocial Auto Retweet App is Ready!!!

Hi Team!

As many of you know, we have been without our auto-retweeting since around this time last year when RoundTeam changed their subscription plans. And just recently we tried a new app TeamSocial but it too was not the right fit for us.

We needed an app that could deliver a pretty high volume of retweets but at a reasonable price point. That's when it became quite clear to us that we needed our own thing!

And I am happy to announce that we now have our own Auto-Retweet app built into my EtsySocial site. Our app has been tried and tested and is up and running! It will auto-retweet us via one Team Twitter list bringing us all back together again!!

So Team, below in the next post, you will find instructions for setting up your auto-retweet!

Lastly, a big thank you to our teamies who were so committed to testing the new app! You all were amazing providing such awesome reporting, analyses, spreadsheets, thoughts/ideas/suggestions...I'm literally tearing up right now!...#appreciation XOXO

Very impressive STAT numbers with our new app. when one considers that previously my stats had almost flatlined ... 1 or 2 a day, up to 10 would have been a great day. Now:

26 visits already today at only 9:30 a.m.
126 visits yesterday (Sunday).
637 visits in the last 7 days
1,129 in the last 30 days

Big improvement! Thank you Clarissa. Now I need to be seen by the right people.

Finally got this all set up!

The only difference I found was in the retweet section..... could find nothing that said "activate"...... but I did find "submit"

Heya All, I do believe that there is a slight bug as I changed my twitter account, and I am still not being retweeted and am only seeing that I am retweeting (auto thru app) about three people to the point of spam. Any updates to this? I actually did a specified search on twitter itself ... hoping this is only happening to me so it can be quickly fixed, but may be worth checking. My twitter is @swirlingOrangeE

Hi Frances! Hi Claude! Thank you for signing up! I've added you to the list! Now you just need #estymntt in your tweets 1 per hour 24/7.

Please note the "auto pilot' feature is very new and beta! It is have some trouble at the moment but our developer is working on it.

The other feature for scheduling auto tweets is working.

Hi Swirly! It's the 'auto pilot' feature that is having trouble. Please see the convo I sent you a few mins ago. Re the retweets posting to your Twitter, let me take a look to see what's happening.

My Twitter account was recentlysuspemded due to automated tweets. I am only using Etsysocial. Has anyone else had this problem using etsysocial. I have unblocked my account, but can't be sure it won't happen again.

I was able to reset my account after 3 attempts, but it is working again. I deactivated my shop weets for today, but I am still retweeting other members.

Yes, my account was also blocked but I was also able to unlock it.

I was blocked today, but was able to unlock it on the second try. I wonder if Twitter hired someone smart and he/she is checking IP addresses. Lots of tweets from one address, while purporting to be several different people...

My twitter got locked out too. I haven't gotten it unlocked yet; I made one attempt when I was waiting for my ride after work, but haven't gotten past that. At this point I'm probably waiting until morning to try unlocking it again, when I have more patience than I do right now.

Just noticed I got locked out of my twitter acct too. I wonder if they think it's because of the spamming of our shops? Haven't tried to unlock it yet cuz it wants me to enter my phone number which I didn't want to include. Thought I'd wait it out and try later.
If anyone figures out why this is happening please let us know.

Ok, second attempt unlocked my twitter. It seems to me that either something went wrong with our retweet app or Twitter just suddenly decided that the same thing we've been doing for years is now considered spam.
