MANUAL Team RETWEETS: Sign-up & Instructions

Hi Team!

For those of us who participate in Team Auto-Retweets, you may or may not be aware of recent changes made by RoundTeam that have impacted our auto-retweeting. Perhaps you have noticed that your retweets numbers are drastically decreased to just a trickle.

I am in the process of finding us a new service provider to replace RoundTeam, however, in the meantime Team members have expressed a desire and willingness to manually retweet one another!

INSTRUCTION FOR MANUAL RETWEETS:

If you would like to participate in MANUAL Retweets please take the following steps:

1. Please sign up below WITH a LINK to your TWITTER and I will add your name to a new Twitter List "Manual Retweets".

2. After you've been added to the list. in your TWEETDECK add a column for the List "Manual Retweets' (do this on tweetdeck by go clicking on "add column" then select "lists" if you've been added to the Manual Retweets list you will see it listed there to select.

3. Once you've added the Manual Retweets column, set the 'content' filter on the column for "#etsymntt" and set it to EXCLUDE retweets.

Once you have the Manual Retweets column set up you can go there whenever you have a few minutes to do some retweeting. Please remember that your followers are seeing your retweets so you don't want to overwhelm your account. Remember our auto-retweeting was pretty conservative only 8-10 an hour. That's in addition to your own tweets.

Also, you may find it convenient to schedule your retweet right there on tweetdeck.

Gosh I feel super backwards... I have been manually retweeting by clicking on the #etsymntt hashtag, selecting "all tweets" (instead of top tweets) and RT'ing the first 10-12 that come up. I try to hit the ones with less than 10 RTs already, to help 'boost the little guy'. I also RT people who RT me, especially if they have a pinned tweet to make it easy for me to find their content amidst all the RTs.

I will look into Tweetdeck when I have a moment. I usually RT during my commute, not an ideal time to learn new technologies!

Hi Swirling! I shared ideas with the developer and had a meeting tonight. We have another meeting scheduled for Monday. They are hoping to have something for ready for us that can impact our xmas/holiday promoting!

Ok, here's a weird one. It appears that round team is working for me again. I have not paid them anything or made any changes. The past couple of days I have been out most of the time, so I haven't had much time to do manual retweeting. BUT, according to hootsuite, I have been retweeting all of you like crazy. Prior to the past couple of days, I do not think I have had any retweeting done by roundteam for at least a couple of months. The only thing that I can figure out is that Roundteam turned me back on or something? Has anyone else noticed anything?

Round team is still picking up some retweets via the etsymntt tag it looks like but still very sporadic and unreliable. :(

I have been doing 2 sessions of manual retweets by simply searching #mntt from my twitter account.... my roundteam, which is only one stewp above the free version, seems to be picking up a good many team retweets.
