Your favorite material?

Ok, so I'm newer to the group and I've noticed that there don't seem to be a lot of recent discussions. I'd like to ask a question of any of the seasoned sellers, or anyone for that matter: what is your favorite material to use for wings, and why?

If as knittwear than bamboo wool but for sewing it would be linen, silk, lace, feathers, pearls :)
