I send them with my orders so that my customers can receive 10% off subsequent purchases. I have also seen people advertise in their shop announcement, and on team forums. Hope that helps! Laura
I also send them in with my orders. There are promo teams you can join as well and promote your coupons. You could try posting about your promotion on Twitter, Facebook, etc. :]
I have a little thank you hang tag that attaches to the ribbon that is tied around my little jewelry boxes. When a customer receives the item that they purchased - the thank you hang tag say "I have loved working with you - please use coupon code **** the next time you stop by the shop and get 10% off of your order".
I have mine advertised in my shop announcement, on facebook and on twitter. It's hard to get the word out though, I've had the coupon code all month, have had 7 sales and not one person used it!
I put in my info and appearances section and on my banner. Plus etsy will go in and change the prices of all my items with the discount (at least I hope it is working) see this site the one on the bottom.
