renewing items

Hi! Is there any such thing as a "good" or "better" time to list/ renew an item? I list/ renew about 6 items ever day, mostly in the am/ MST. I just wanted to know if there may be something more to it, to get a little attention. Any ideas? Thanks!

Re: renewing items

I think it depends on the shop and what you are selling. My best times are around lunch time, late afternoon and around dinner time. All of those are EST.

Get set up on Google Analytics and you can track your busy times and traffic. It's great.

Re: renewing items

Also, spread your listings out 20 or 30 minutes from each other to get more exposure. I am sometimes guilty of relisting 5 items at once if I don't have time to get on every 30 minutes, but it helps to spread them out.

Re: renewing items

google analytics is a great tool to show you the times your shop is getting the most views. also maybe check the times you receive hearts and sales

I like paydays. Thursdays and Fridays have always been days when I make my sales

How do you check on Google Analytics the best times?

Re: renewing items

In GA you click on visits and then on the little clock icon near the top, that
will give you a graph by the hour..you can then list at the time
that you get the most views:-)

Re: renewing items

@nursemeg77 Just ignore that code... there's a different instillation for us Etsians that doesn't involve installing the tracking code anywhere. Here's the Etsy instructions:

Re: renewing items

Oh, but I have to admit that I just set mine up for my shop last night and I'm not sure it installed correctly yet (used to manually installing for my wordpress blog and the different instillation method for Etsy has me scratching my head a bit)
