I notice lately that the thing that makes me click on a shop or visit a website the quickest and above anything else is an interesting name... I'm a sucker for an off beat or very creative business name and cant wait to see the products they carry so please post your interesting shop names below so we can all admire your creativity and interesting products which is the second thing that draws me in so please post your most interesting and unique item in your shop below as well.

When I decided to do Etsy, I was walking my dog on the beach and the sunset was an amazing copper color that day and hense the name. I rushed home and Copper Sun Design was created. :-) for my love of nature and all it's creations.

@AuraRoses I love the fact that you create items from natural elements and unique places, I once made a wall sconces with real beach sand and seashells that I collected from the beach of course there weren't perfect seashell shape like the ones in the store but the colors were brilliant and it was the piece I had the most doubt about and the one that sold the quickest! I never liked my given name. So I always shortened it to Pat. Most people thought my name was Patricia. It isn't. It's Patsy. I fell in love with designing in patchwork and when I opened my Etsy shop Patsy's Patchwork just seemed to fit.

My shop name isn't too unique since I wanted it to describe the general theme of what I offer. Mostly Asian inspired art. But it is interesting to hear how a lot of other chose their shop names.

Looking back, I should have given my Etsy shop name more thought because the has nothing to do with my bicycle jewelry.
I do a couple of other design things besides my jewelry and I wanted a neutral sounding name to cover it all when I registered my business with the state.

i make sewing patterns for cloth (waldorf) dolls, hence the name dalai mama. i love a good play on words- once i decided on a name, the business just followed. ill share this item since its named after my daughter. (all of my other patterns are named after friends' kids)

Love this thread! I am regularly awed by the creativity that abounds here & a great shop name will quickly peak my interest!

Some folks think my shop name is a little too edgy..but when I got to the point in my crafting & jewelry making where that was almost all I thought about, talked about, dreamt about & definitely all I wanted to do, my husband said I must be addicted & it stuck ;o)
