How many times have you scrolled through Etsy lately found shops full of items that you know they didn't make? For me, it's almost 3 or 4 times a day that I find a shop that sells items I have either seen in the Asian food market, the Dollar store, or items that 10 other shops have the exact same item with the same photos!

One of the draws to Etsy that I had a few years ago was that it was a collection of Indie crafters who were able to use the amazing Etsy platform to sell their art online around the world. It's a great concept! We work together as crafters to promote each other, support the handmade community, and enjoy the tradition of crafting. But increasingly Etsy has filled up with nonsense.

Am I all alone in thinking this? Honestly, I can take the feedback. I love Etsy. I love my shop. But I am just a little frustrated with this.

Report it to Etsy asap! They should be made aware. Their legal dept should be able to direct you from there.....hopefully.

You have to be able to somehow contact alixpress somehow....check for it at the bottom.

I feel so bad for you....I know how I would feel about my design being stolen from me by them and also seeing my daughter in a picture that they stole from you......I would be pissed.

Can Etsy be held liable for contributory infringement if they don't do anything about this? I'd contact their legal department immediately to have them send a cease-and-desist :

Just got a great idea. From now on when we see a "reseller" on Etsy that has photos exactly the same on Alibaba let's contact them and let them know they are being copied, and we will report it to Etsy for them...LOL...

I too was frustrated about this. I had someone report my stores for having something designed by my boyfriend in it. We submitted all the proper paperwork showing it was completely designed and built by my boyfriend. They still made us take it down and he opened a separate shop. We should have done that in the beginning but thought since I am on here every day promoting and favoring it would help his business to just add it to mine. They sure made a big deal about it but allow people to sell fake Chanel, dollar store items, and china made supplies. Digital downloads bother me the most!!

Speaking of which, I found this on the first oage of Trending Items...check out this shop if you have not already....I would be able to make a dress a day, but not close to 300 in a 2 month period...doing a projection with the figures there...and then sell them cheaper than I could ourchase the materials to make it and then free ship in the USA as well....nada!

Here's a store on Etsy that I came across last week. This really chaps my hide. Nothing in their store is handmade or vintage. Pretty much everything in their store is available on Amazon from different sellers. I contacted Etsy last week and let them know about it. But, the store is still operating. Maybe a bunch of you can complain to Etsy about them?

I am just amazed that as many links that have been shared on this 42 page thread and the leaders of this team are all administration that they haven't shut it down yet. Well all we can do it report report report. Hopefully they are so busy with the reports they don't have time to pay attention to us.

Right there with you girl. But then again I couldn't have the joy of making amazing items for my customers. Yes I am in this for money, but I also love to sew and make a wedding amazing....or the perfect party dress for a little girl. I could actually contact a factory and have them make it for less then a 1/4 of the cost and no time other than packaging. These flower girl resellers have really hurt me this year and I think about the other awesome people in my category that have to have had a hit too. Lets just stick together and report report report....Make sure you show proof through Alibaba or Ebay...And like we all know I just got a photo stolen by an Alibaba seller, so some might think I am a reseller. But some are so obvious...

I do not have the room for supplies or the money to even rent a soace like they would have to have....goodness, the amount of stuff they have is astounding!

I think I would feel like a $2 hooker at the end of a day.
