"Beginners Luck" tips, tricks, and experiences

Hello everyone! As you may have guessed, I am fairly new to Etsy, I've opened my store and have made my first listings! I have discovered that it has been hard for me to get views for my shop and I have only sold one item. I read in another thread it usually takes a few months to get completely started. I was wondering if anyone had any tips, tricks, or constructive criticisms for my shop? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Also, if you have any experiences you would like to personally share, you are welcome to! I'm having trouble getting started and I have shared my shop on other social media sites as well as spread the word through friends.

Be unique and make something that people want that isn't out there. You have to set yourself apart, now that everyone thinks they can just open a shop and get sales. Do research on successful bath products, in the area of that market that you are interested and dedicated to, then develop your niche for your target market (the buyer that you envision as the person you want to buy your products),
