Favorite Shop/Item

Hi Everyone!
I was wondering if clicking "favorite" shops or items of somebody else' on Etsy help to get noticed my own store more.Does it effect the amount of the sale? Or is it just clicking something you like?

No idea, I have seen the opposite, when somebody favorites an item from my shop, then more people notice me on etsy and I get more views/sales
