is this a scam??

I received these two conversations yesterday, at first I thought the person did not realize I was the same shop but now I am getting suspicious. They were within 2 minutes of eachother and EXACTLY the same and the fact that the 2nd message does not say anything about wanting both items is so weird to me. I keep hearing about all the Etsy scams so not sure what to do. Here are the 2 messages copy and pasted:

Even if it's a scam, it doesn't hurt you to reply how long it will take. Some convos are called "scam" because they are trying to steal something (money or free items) or just randomly advertising. I don't think she is trying to steal anything from you by asking how long it will take to be delivered. Some people only check the listings and don't notice the listings are from the same shop. She must have really liked your items. You probably shouldn't have posted her name though.

I don't think it's a scam she may just be wanting those too item and didn't wanna have to retype the message she just sent, so copy and pasted to a new message but changed the item

I do the same thing while Christmas shopping.
With all due respect to the seller, if I need something by a certain date [ex Christmas] I am not going to wait for a response when I could get something similar in another shop.

I see it as they're just shopping around.

Oh good I feel better, I just read a horror scam story from another seller on Etsy so now I am paranoid! Thank you so much everyone!

Honestly, I've been selling online for over ten years and never run across a scam. Most people are pretty nice. I see the word scam thrown around on the forums way too much.

I think it was a copy - paste personally.... she may be trying to do a bunch of last minute shopping and is asking everyone the same questions.

If the customer lands on a search page, your work is imaged next to other seller. The customer may not even realize that both braided bracelets are yours.

Relax.
$7.00 bucks is hardly a big budget scam.

I've gotten lots of those types of messages in the past couple weeks. I politely respond & move on. I think a lot of people are trying to figure out if they still have time to order so close to Christmas.

Sometimes it helps me feel better if something seems suspicious to check the profile of the person to see if they have been a member for a while and to check their feedback. If they're brand new with no activity that doesn't help much. But if they've been an Etsy member for a while, it's pretty much a safe bet they're wonderful. :0)

Seems like a normal buyer inquiry to me, especially at this time of year. Not sure how it could be a "scam"...they purchase your items or they don't.
