how to get repeat customers?

For the past year I've included a 15% coupon code with all of my orders and not one person has taken advantage yet. Any ideas how to get customers to come back to your shop? My reviews are all good so I assume most customers are happy with their products. Any advice appreciated!

Repeat coupons don't seem to work for many. Only 2 of my customers have used theirs.

I've found that excellent service/shipping/product helps. Get them to remember you.

Growing my email list has helped, too. I usually get a few people to my shop right after sending something.

Update your shop- renew and list new items. Blog and pin. Keep yourself at the top of your customers' minds.

When you see a product has arrived, send a friendly convo. I like checking in sometimes to make sure their package got to their hands. When someone buys something, I send a thank you the same day. Save a "thank you" snippet. Have all your links at the bottom.

Svetlana - how have you been able to grow your email list? I'd like to start doing a newsletter but am not sure how to get people to sign up.

Most readers have given me permission to sign them up once finding out about it. I include a blurb about the newsletter in every thank you convo.

I put a sign up link in every listing, my about page, a page on my blog, every platform. Only 2 or 3 readers signed up by themselves. All others have given me the ok first.

I have not offered a sign up incentive yet. But my readers *have* gotten some pretty sweet exclusive coupons already.
